Edible gum is used in making panjiri mixture – whole-wheat flour, nuts, gaund, and sugar fried in ghee. It is used to make laddoos with mixture of coconut, dried dates, poppy seeds, almonds, jaggery fried in clarified butter. It is used to make chikkis.
